The AI Office Hour.

What’s changing, what matters, and what you can safely ignore.

what this is(01)

Here’s the thing nobody says out loud: none of us are keeping up. I’m in this every single day, for clients and for my own business, and I still spend half of every week going wait, when did that change?

So that’s what the hour is for. Once a month I’ll tell you what actually moved, what’s worth your attention, and honestly, what you can ignore. That last one might be the most useful. Most of what gets announced this year will never touch your business.

why me

Twenty years running digital launches. Lady Gaga’s Fame fragrance, launch teams for Green Day and Tom Petty, enterprise rollouts across CPG and publishing — behind the scenes of global brands, turning bold ideas into cross-functional plans a team can actually execute.

I cofounded Camino5, where we do that for Fortune 500 teams and for founders with nothing but an idea. Same job either way: make the ambitious thing practical, human, and ready for the real world.

Which is why AI has my attention now. The digital ground moved again — how people and brands get found is being rewritten — and I’m learning it the way I learned the last shift, by building it. Usually badly the first time. Tools change and people don’t, so I teach the part that lasts.

how the hour goes(02)

first twenty minutes

We’ll go through what’s actually changed in AI since we last talked. Some months I’ll pick one thing and go deeper on it — building your second brain, say — and work it through on screen rather than just describing it.

the rest of it

Yours. Bring the thing you keep meaning to sort out and haven’t. Specific beats polite, and it helps everyone else on the call more than a general question ever does.

when I don’t know

I’ll say so, go find out, and bring it back next month. That happens most months. Anyone telling you they have all of this figured out is selling you something.

what you leave with

A little more informed than you came in, and enough of a handle on what’s moving that the next headline doesn’t rattle you. Enough to hold you until the next one. It’s a small promise on purpose.

tell me what to cover(03)

The agenda is whatever you’re stuck on.

Send it over ahead of time and I’ll come in having actually thought about it, which beats me guessing at what the room needs. Half-formed is completely fine. “I don’t even know what to ask” is a real answer — I get it a lot, and it’s usually the start of a good conversation.

I read every single one. If three of you send me the same thing, that becomes the topic.

likely ground(04)

Things I can go deep on, in no particular order. What we actually get to depends on what comes in through the box above, so read this as a menu rather than a schedule.

/01

Building your second brain. A setup that reads your actual files and hands you one thing each morning, instead of you assembling the day from scratch.

/02

Using AI as a thinking partner. Not a writing machine. The difference between those two is most of the value, and most people never cross it.

/03

AI search, and being found in it. What quietly replaced ranking, and what to do about it if you sell anything to anyone.

/04

Running your marketing on your own. What to hand to a machine, what to keep for yourself, and how to tell which is which.

/05

Client work and confidential files. What not to paste in, and how I strip a document before it goes anywhere near a model. I do this weekly.

where it happens(05)

The office hour lives inside Harvest Goal Collective, a community of women building businesses. Sessions are for members, and Harvest keeps the calendar and handles the sign-ups.

Dates go up on the Harvest calendar. Send your question either way — it reaches me whether or not you make it to the live one.

not a member?

Then take the guide below instead. It’s the same ground I cover when we do the second brain session, and it costs nothing.

start before we meet(06)

Build Your Second Brain.

Nine pages, and page two is a whole working version in about ten minutes — one folder, one prompt, one email waiting for you tomorrow morning. Works the same in Claude or ChatGPT. Free, and there’s no upsell at the end of it.
